Progression of axial spondyloarthritis

چکیده
The spectrum of bone lesions in axial spondyloarthritis is great interest. With inflammation and mechanical influence concurrence the background, both tissue gain loss a particular area can occur simultaneously. Moreover, if vertebral mass loss, perhaps, be easily explained by chronic systemic inflammation, reason its gain, observed remains mystery. It unclear whether it consequence enhanced recovery processes after injury, adaptation to altered stress, response inflammatory cells activation or cytokines, produced them, changes Wnt signaling pathways (for example). Whether these factors act individually collectively also unclear.

Patient Burden of Axial Spondyloarthritis
Axial spondyloarthritis (AxSpA) is an inflammatory spondyloarthritis (SpA) that has significant impact on a patient's life. Symptoms, including fatigue, sleep problems, depression, and sexual dysfunction, can profoundly impact health-related quality of life (HRQoL) and limit work, leisure, and daily activities. متن کاملCytokine profiles in axial spondyloarthritis
OBJECTIVES Current studies concentrate on the cytokine network and its role in the pathogenesis of spondyloarthritis (SpA). In this study, we analyzed whether the serum cytokine profile (interleukins: IL-10, IL-11, IL-12, IL-15, IL-17, IL-23 and IL-33) correlates with demographic data, clinical manifestations, disease activity and treatment outcome in a group of patients with axial spondyloarth...
متن کاملThe Nonradiographic Axial Spondyloarthritis, the Radiographic Axial Spondyloarthritis, and Ankylosing Spondylitis: The Tangled Skein of Rheumatology
Since 1984 the diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis (AS) has been based upon the modified New York (mNY) criteria with mandatory presence of radiographic sacroiliitis, without which the diagnosis is not tenable. However, it may take years or decades for radiographic sacroiliitis to develop delaying the diagnosis for long periods. It did not matter in the past because no effective treatment was a...
